A radiant Art Deco butterfly wing pendant with a poetic twist. Crafted in Sterling Silver and stamped “MADE IN ENGLAND”, its iridescent Morpho Butterfly wing shimmers from aqua to blue‑violet, creating a luminous stage for a crisp matte white relief of the Goddess Pheme in graceful motion. A tactile twisted‑rope bezel frames the scene, adding texture and a refined vintage flourish.

ERA: Art Deco (1920–1939).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 30mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 24.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 4.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Morpho Butterfly Eing, 9ct Gold jump ring.

STAMPS: MADE IN ENGLAND, STERLING SILVER.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Morpho butterfly wing displays vibrant, even iridescence with only the lightest surface wear under magnification; the white relief remains crisp with minimal softening to the highest points. The Sterling Silver twisted‑rope bezel and closed back are secure with fine age‑related surface marks and a tiny shallow indent to the reverse. No signs of repair; overall beautifully preserved and well cared for.
