Black Onyx gives the central Diamond a wonderfully dramatic stage in this Art Deco target ring. An Old European-Cut Diamond rises from the glossy oval panel, its bright facets surrounded by an uninterrupted sweep of black. A scalloped border of smaller Diamonds adds a sparkling, gently curved outline.

There is beautiful detail beyond the face, too. Little Diamonds dress the pointed shoulders, and open Platinum tracery runs beneath the cluster. The cool metal carries the monochrome palette right through the ring, with a slender band keeping attention on that striking oval.

MEASUREMENTS: Cluster measures 16mm by 13mm.
Oval Onyx measures 12.5mm by 9.5mm.
Central Old European-Cut Diamond measures 4mm.
Sixteen halo Diamonds measure approximately 1mm each.
Two additional Diamond accents sit in each shoulder.
Band measures 1.5mm wide, widening to 2.5mm at the shoulders.
WEIGHT: 4.2g

MATERIALS: Tests as Platinum throughout.

GEMSTONES: Onyx and natural Diamonds. Central Old European-Cut Diamond approximately 0.25ct; total Diamond weight approximately 0.35ct.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
