A shaped Platinum face gives this Art Deco Diamond ring its distinctive outline, stepping out at the sides before curving into broader upper and lower edges. Small Diamonds sit among closely worked bright details, creating an intricate surface rather than a simple row of stones. A further Diamond decorates each tapered shoulder, extending the pale, sparkling face towards the warm 18ct Gold band.

The side view reveals a low raised gallery with small openings around its edge, while the underside has separate openings beneath the stones. The broad shoulders narrow into a plain rounded shank, keeping the back of the ring uncomplicated. That contrast between the finely detailed Platinum face and the smooth Gold band gives the design its particular charm.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring face measures 8mm long x 14mm wide.
11 x Diamonds measure approx. 1.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.17ct combined.
Ring band is 1.5mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 2.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Platinum settings, Diamond (0.17ct).

STAMPS: 18ct Gold, Maker's Mark B&R.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

EXCELLENT: The face retains its fine textured details and clearly defined outline. Surface scratches are visible on the Gold shank, with a previous resize visible at the back of the band. Darker traces remain around the underside openings.
