Bands of turquoise-blue, deep blue and reddish Enamel bring this little Silver Tutankhamun pendant vividly to life. The face stands in relief within the striped headdress, giving the design a wonderfully sculptural quality.

The contrast of cool Silver, coloured Enamel and warm Gold is especially charming up close. A distinctive little addition to a collection of Egyptian-inspired jewellery.

ERA: Art Deco (1920–1939).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 22.5mm long including the jump ring.
Pendant measures 13.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 1.5g

MATERIALS: Tests as 800 Silver with a 9ct Gold jump ring and Enamel.

STAMPS: 800 on the reverse.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: The raised facial features remain clearly defined, with strong colour in the surviving Enamel. There is Enamel wear and loss in places, together with surface scratches on the Silver. The striped headdress retains its distinctive outline.
