A bold, hand‑knotted mid‑length bead necklace composed of warm orange to orange‑amber Carnelian beads, graduated to a larger centre bead for a sculptural, mid‑century statement.

The elongated oval beads are individually drilled and separated by visible red textile knots, creating a tactile, folk‑inspired rhythm across the strand.

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace length is 31" (78.7cm).
Beads graduate from 12mm long x 8mm wide to 22mm long x 15mm wide, 331.40ct of beads.
WEIGHT: 136g

MATERIALS: Carnelian bead (331.40ct)

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Carnelian beads are polished with fine surface scratches and occasional small nicks or pits around some drill holes, and show light internal cloudiness/inclusions; these do not materially affect wearability. The hand‑knotted red cord and knots are intact with no visible repairs or re‑stringing. Overall the necklace presents well and shows careful previous use consistent with its age.
