MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 28mm long inc. hooks.
Drops are 18mm long x 13mm wide.
Weight: 4g combined.

STAMPS: SILVER.
MATERIALS: Sterling Silver, 9ct Gold hooks, Butterfly Wing.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD. These Art Deco Butterfly Wing earrings are in very good condition. The Butterfly Wings are both pristine, carefully preserved for over a century, with vibrant sky blue hues. The Silver is bright and has accrued a light patina creating a dramatic finish. Under close inspection, there is some minor age-related wear, including a hairline split on the bottom of one earring and some light wear on the back, but this won't be noticeable while the earrings are worn. With slender and securely affixed hooks, you can wear these Deco delights confidently!
