ERA: Art Deco (1920-1939).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 22.5mm in diameter.
Diamond is 3.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.17ct.
Weight: 9.4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back & front, Gold toned Metal inside, Diamond (0.17ct), Enamel.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. This Art Deco 9ct Gold Enamel Diamond family locket is in very good condition. The Gold is buttery throughout and the Guilloché Enamel is pristine, which is no mean feat when considering her grand age! The locket has all its original frames in place but has lost the glass through time. The Gold-tone metal inside exhibits some wear, but this does not affect the structural integrity of the locket and cannot be seen while worn. The Diamond is securely set and is free from fleabites or abrasions, bringing a wonderful sparkle to the piece. With securely closing locket doors, you can wear this piece with absolute confidence!
