A classic Art Deco five-stone ring in 18ct Gold, set with a graceful line of graduated royal-blue Sapphires alternating with bright, near-colourless Diamonds. Each gemstone is securely rub-over set with fine milgrain edging, the low profile enhanced by a delicately pierced, scalloped gallery for a refined finish.

The vivid blue and crisp white contrast is timeless, with approx. 0.35ct of Sapphires and 0.12ct of Diamonds bringing elegant sparkle. Beautifully wearable alone or stacked, and stamped 18ct to the inner band.

Sapphires graduate from 2.5mm to 4mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.35ct combined.
Band is 4.5mm to 1.5mm wide.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Sapphire (approx. 0.35ct), Diamond (approx. 0.12ct)

STAMPS: 18ct

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: Gemstones are bright and securely set with no noticeable chips or abrasions under magnification. The 18ct Gold shank and bezels show only light, commensurate surface wear and retain crisp milgrain and pierced detailing. Evidence of historic sizing/repair is visible as discreet solder to the inner shank and at the gallery; work is stable and smoothly finished.
