A chic Art Deco Diamond 5-stone ring in 18ct Gold and Platinum, c.1920. The design features five graduating old cut Diamonds, each set in a crisp square Platinum bezel, forming a stepped architectural row across the finger. The style is distinctly Art Deco, reminiscent of the iconic Chrysler Building of the era.

Diamonds graduate from approx. 0.5mm to 1.2mm each (est. 0.10cts total).

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold and Platinum, Diamonds

STAMPS: “PLAT”, “18CT” (faint)

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

VERY GOOD – EXCELLENT: Diamonds are well-matched, bright and securely set. Platinum settings are crisp with no wear, and the 18ct Gold band shows no thinning or resizing marks. A clean and beautifully preserved Art Deco ring.
