We are obsessing over this early Art Deco 15ct Gold engraved fan locket! This locket has been beautifully crafted into the shape of a fan, a popular motif in the Art Deco style, and opens to reveal space for a cherished photograph to be placed.

This 15ct Gold locket has been engraved on both its front and back, with a beautiful symmetry for which the period is so renowned. This rare 15ct Gold locket will certainly set your collection apart from the crowd!

ERA: Art Deco, c.1919.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 33mm long inc. jump ring.
Fan is 25.5mm long x 23mm wide
Weight: 7.8g.

MATERIALS: 15ct Gold.

HALLMARKS: MW&S Makers mark, 15, .625, Birmingham Anchor, Date letter u for the year 1919.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. This Art Deco 15ct Gold engraved fan locket is in very good condition! The locket has held its shape well and the doors slide open beautifully. The frame is secure and there are wispy engravings that give the piece a delicate finish. There are some sliding marks on the inside of the locket doors from where they've been opened and closed, but this is only an aesthetic. There is also a small scratch, likely where someone has previously tested the Gold purity. The locket is fully hallmarked and the doors close to keep a photo of your loved one safe.
