MEASUREMENTS: Sapphire cabochon measures 10mm x 9mm x 8mm deep, approximately 3.75cts.
Head is 11mm wide.
Band is 2mm wide.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Natural Star Blue Sapphire

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Natural Star Blue Sapphire displays only light surface abrasions consistent with gentle wear, with no chips or cracks observed. The 15ct Gold coronet setting, claws and slim shank are in lovely condition with minor surface marks and a soft, even patina; the stone sits securely. No visible repairs or resizing marks.
