A superb Victorian serpent ring hand-crafted in rich 18ct Gold, coiling gracefully around the finger with captivating presence. The snake’s head is set with bright old mine-cut Diamond eyes, giving a lively sparkle and a wonderfully antique character.

Serpent jewels symbolised eternal love, wisdom and protection throughout the 19th century. This substantial example wears beautifully alone or stacked, and is a timeless Victorian icon.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring band tapers from 8mm to 2.5mm wide.
2mm in diameter Diamonds.
WEIGHT: 6.1g

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, natural Diamonds (old mine cut).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your ring will be shipped in a luxury velvet Lillicoco presentation box.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Diamonds are bright and secure with no chips or abrasions. The Gold shows only minimal surface wear, with crisp detail to the serpent’s head and coils. A beautifully preserved Victorian ring.
