These Antique Victorian earrings are a striking example of Etruscan Revival design, crafted in rich 15ct Gold c.1850. Each earring features a central star-set old mine cut Diamond, surrounded by ornate granulation and applied beadwork in the bold Revival style inspired by ancient Roman jewellery.

Measuring 1cm in diameter (excluding hooks), the earrings have a wonderful presence despite their light weight of just 1.6g for the pair. Their warm high-carat Gold colour and intricate hand-workmanship give them a timeless beauty, and the Diamonds add a subtle sparkle to the textured design.

Stamped “15CT” and tested throughout as solid 15ct Gold, these earrings are an authentic piece of mid-Victorian craftsmanship, blending history, artistry and wearable elegance.

VERY GOOD: Diamonds are original and securely set, displaying their characteristic old mine cut charm. The granulation and beading remain intact with only minor wear to the Gold commensurate with age. Hooks are strong and secure. A rare and well-preserved example of early Etruscan Revival earrings.
