This antique Silver Turquoise & Pearl shaker locket is such a beautiful find! Crafted from solid Silver, the border of the locket is encrusted with petite Pearls and topped with a Turquoise bow creating an elegant colour palette.

With a beautiful selection of Opals and a large Moonstone cabochon, this Victorian locket perfectly combines elegance and charm, allowing you to have a one-of-a-kind treasure to suspend from one of your antique chains!

Item Details

ERA: Victorian, c.1900.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 43mm long from of the bail.
Locket Compartment is 20.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 9.4g.

MATERIALS: Silver, Turquoise, Pearls, Moonstone, Opals.

STAMPS: SILVER on back of piece.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

GOOD-VERY GOOD. This antique Silver Turquoise & Pearl shaker locket is in very good condition overall! The gemstones on the inside are gorgeous and are held securely into place by two glass panels and Silver frames. The Pearls bordering the piece are secure, and their Silver border has accrued a wonderful patina that makes them pop. There is some discolouration to note to the piece, specifically towards the back, but this is purely aesthetic and cannot be seen while the locket is worn. For a piece over over 120 years old she has lasted beautifully!
