With an effortlessly feminine appeal, this Edwardian locket has been finely crafted from Sterling Silver and inlaid with bright Diamond Paste, creating a sea of scintillating sparkle as their crisp facets catch the light.

Item Details

ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 39mm long inc. bale.
Locket itself is 29mm in diameter.
Paste are 3mm in diameter.
Weight: 9.5g

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Paste.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: This antique Silver Paste picture locket is in very good condition. The Paste are all present and securely set, and although some of them vary slightly in hue, appearing more yellow from years of use, they are free from notable chips or abrasions. The Silver is lustrous, with a light patina having accrued within the details, and the locket has held its form well. The locket opens by gently pushing the entire plexiglass panel down, and will hold your chosen photograph securely in place. Please note that the locket compartment is too shallow to be used as a shaker.
