Boasting a combined weight of 8.45ct, the Aquamarines have been exquisitely hand-cut and radiate shimmering cool hues as the facets catch the light. Displayed within stylistic double claws and suspended by curvaceous belcher links allowing the Aquamarines to fall centrally between your clavicles, this Edwardian negligee necklace would look sublime paired with your favourite LBD!

ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 16 & 1/2" or 42cm long.
Small Aquamarine is 10mm long x 7mm wide, weighing approx. 1.60ct.
Large Aquamarine is 13.5mm long x 11.5mm wide, weighing approx. 6.85ct.
Weight: 7.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, Aquamarine (8.45ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT. This antique Silver Aquamarine negligee necklace is in lovely condition throughout. The Aquamarines are securely held within their claw settings and boast crisp facets and an elegant light blue hue. Under close inspection the gems do have some light surface wear, commensurate with age, the top one has a minor nibble at the top (in a straight line form) and a couple of fleabites on the bottom one, but these do not draw the eye. The links are securely connected and each component is firmly affixed, allowing you to wear this Edwardian necklace with absolute confidence!
