These antique rose-cut Diamond cluster lever-back earrings will add instant splendour to your lobes! Finely crafted, each cluster is inlaid with ten uniquely faceted Dutch rose-cut Diamonds that scintillate in the light. Displayed in ornate Silver settings, the brilliance of the Diamonds is enhanced by the dark patina that's accrued within the grooves, creating a dramatic contrast.

Held in your lobes by robust 14ct Gold lever-backs in a classic dormeuse style, these Victorian earrings are nothing short of magnificent and can be worn at any occasion with absolute confidence!

ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 18mm long inc hooks.
Earring drops are 14.5mm in diameter
Central Diamonds are approx. 4.6mm in diameter.
Outer Diamonds are approx. 3mm in diameter.
Total Diamond weight is approx. 1.40ct.*
Weight: 6.5g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 14ct Gold, Silver, Dutch Rose-Cut Diamonds (1.40ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: These antique rose-cut Diamond cluster lever-back earrings are in very good condition overall. The Diamonds are all securely set and original to the piece, which means that some of them show signs of wear- including a few fleabites and minor abrasions. As they are authentic antique, there are also some natural inclusions visible, which we feel add to their antique charm! The Silver claws are glossy with a moody patina accrued within the grooves, giving these earrings an old-time feel. The Gold is brightly saturated with only mild surface wear, commensurate with age, and the lever-backs are robust and function well, promising many more years of wear and enjoyment. With so much wear potential, these Victorian Diamond earrings will take pride of place within antique your jewellery collection!
