Steeped in Georgian allure, this Silver cross pendant glows with richly hued Red Paste framed by twinkling White Paste. The stones are set in closed-back collets, their foiled backs catching the light to create a romantic interplay of scarlet and icy sparkle. Hand-finished openwork and graceful scrolls lend an ornate, timeless presence, enhanced by a natural, deep patina to the Silver.

ERA: Georgian (1714–1837).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 59mm long including jump ring.
Pendant is 44mm wide.
White Paste stones measure 2mm to 4mm in diameter.
Red Paste stones measure 9mm long x 6mm wide.
WEIGHT: 8.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver, Red Paste, White Paste.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: The Paste stones are bright with age-consistent facet wear; some White Paste shows light abrasion and clouding, and one White Paste is missing near the jump ring. The Silver setting presents surface wear and an attractive, darkened patina with tarnish in recessed areas. There is evidence of historic solder at a few joins; settings are secure overall and the piece wears beautifully.
