Item Details

ERA: Victorian, c.1850.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 61.5mm long x 32mm wide.
Paste stones graduate from 3mm to 6mm in diameter.
Weight: 9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 800 Silver, Paste.

STAMPS: French Boars head for 800 Silver on hasp.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

GOOD-VERY GOOD: This antique French Silver Paste cross pendant is in great condition. The Paste gems are secure in their settings, with some minor wear to their facets visible only under the inspection of a jeweller's loupe, and we also believe that they are all original too! While there is some disparity and discolouration between the Paste stones - this is typical for a piece of this age and, if anything, it adds to her antique charm. There is some mild wear to the back of the pendant, commensurate with age, and this cannot be seen when the pendant is worn. Complete with a large bale, you can wear this Victorian cross pendant with absolute confidence!
