Item Details

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 84mm long x 49mm wide.
WEIGHT: 38.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 800 Silver.

STAMPS: French boar's head stamps on the rim of the purse.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Gentle, even patina with minimal surface wear consistent with age. The mesh is intact and flexible, and the ball‑drop fringe is present with only slight rippling along the lower edge. A minor irregularity is visible where the mesh meets the frame at one upper corner; no visible repairs.
