Item Details

ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Extender is 10" or 25cm long.
Chain is 5.5mm wide.
Bolt-ring is 20mm in diameter.
Dog-clip is 20mm long.
Weight: 22g

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver.

STAMPS: French Boar's Head on hasp on dog-clip and bolt-ring for 800 Silver
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: Each link is uniform and secure and displays a lovely glossy sheen. The bolt ring functions flawlessly, and the dog-clip is in working order, although it does not close completely flush. With little else to note, this Victorian chain extender can be worn with utmost confidence.
