ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 20 & 1/2" or 52cm long.
Drop is 36.5mm long.
Oval Garnets are approx. 9.5mm long x 6mm wide.
Drop Garnet is 9mm x 5.3mm wide.
Total Garnet weight is approx. 3.65ct.
Weight: 4.3g

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold Garnet settings, 9ct Gold Chain, Perpignan Garnets (3.65ct).

STAMPS: Worn French mark on side of bar drop, 9CT on barrel clasp
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD: This antique Perpignan Garnet drop necklace is in very good condition. Her Garnets are radiant and securely set within their pie crust settings. There is some surface wear to the 9ct Gold though this is commensurate with age. With a secure barrel clasp, you can wear this beauty with confidence.
