A beautiful Art Deco Chinese carved Jade necklace, strung as a single graduated strand of translucent yellow‑green beads culminating in a sculptural dragon pendant clasp. The beads alternate between smooth rounds and softly fluted ribs for subtle texture and movement, while the dragon head is crisply carved with incised detailing for a striking focal point.

Jade beads graduate from 6.5mm in diameter to 12mm in diameter.
Dragon pendant is 55mm long x 27.5mm wide x 9mm deep.

MATERIALS: Jade.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Jade beads and carved pendant are in excellent condition with crisp detailing and a bright polish. Light, minimal surface wear commensurate with age only, with no distracting imperfections. The necklace has been well cared for and presents beautifully.
