An ornate Silver filigree cartouche blooms with a central rosette and scrolling openwork, all finished with millegrain-style collets that glitter with Pink Paste. Pink Paste stones range from 3mm to 8mm.

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver, Paste.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD: Paste stones are bright and well-matched with no chips or losses, showing only slight natural variation in the foils that adds depth and character. The filigree and collet settings are secure with light surface wear and a gentle patina to the Silver, consistent with age and careful wear. Articulated drops move freely and the piece presents beautifully overall.
