Star Sapphire is 8.5mm long x 7.5mm wide, approx 3.45ct.
Weight: 2.2g

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold throughout, Star Sapphire (3.45ct).

STAMPS: '9ct' inside band.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

VERY GOOD. This antique 9ct Gold star Sapphire ring is in very good condition! The Sapphire is set securely within the bezel setting, and although there is some subtle wear to the cabochon surface, the asterism is profound beneath the light. There are some trace elements to the Sapphire but we feel this is an ode to the powers of Mother Nature herself. There is some darkening to the grooves of this Victorian ring and a solder mark to the inside of the band, but rest assured she wears comfortably and securely. A remarkable addition to any antique jewellery collection!
