A beautiful Victorian negligée necklace in 9ct Gold, set with two vivid Rubellite Tourmalines.

The elegant drop and delicate bar-link chain give graceful movement, while the rich raspberry hue of the Tourmaline catches the light with flashes of cerise. Presented in a fitted box for that perfect finishing touch.

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 16" or 40.5cm long.
Pendant drop is 38mm long.
Round Tourmaline is 8mm in diameter, weighing approx. 1.63ct.
Oval Tourmaline is 4.5mm long x 3mm wide, weighing approx. 0.13ct.
Total Tourmaline weight is approx 1.76ct.
WEIGHT: 7.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Rubellite Tourmaline (1.76ct).

STAMPS: Worn 9CT tag near clasp.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Tourmalines are bright and well-matched with no chips or scratches. The Gold settings and bar-link chain are secure with minimal wear and the barrel clasp is in good working order.
