This early 20th-century 9ct Gold locket has a beautifully formed bale and is fully hallmarked to the year 1915.

The inside of the locket is currently home to a dried pink flower petal, which has an entirely natural ombre effect, but you can replace it with your own pressed flower or a cherished photograph if you wish.

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 36mm long including bale.
Locket is 24.5mm in diameter.
Weight: 4g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Glass Panels, Flower Petal.

HALLMARKS: C&Co makers mark, .375 fineness mark, Glasgow Assay Office, Date letter S for 1915.

状態

VERY GOOD. The Gold is buttery with a lovely satin finish, and holds the glass panels securely in place. The bale shows some wear from where it has been suspended from a chain, but the ornate details remain defined. The base of the locket boasts a full set of Scottish hallmarks, dating this piece to 1915.
