Item Details

ERA: Edwardian (1901-1909).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 46.5mm long including jump ring.
Locket itself is 40mm long x 27mm wide.
Glass panels are 28mm long x 20.5mm wide.
Weight: 5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as Solid 9ct Gold, Glass panels.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The solid 9ct Gold is warm and glossy, and has kept a lovely bright sheen. The frame can be popped out to place a photograph or keepsake within the locket. The glass has some signs of wear, including minor chips, though this is commensurate with age. With a secure bale, this locket can be worn with utmost confidence.
