MEASUREMENTS: Opal is 9mm in diameter, weighing approx. 2.30ct.
Ring band is 2mm wide at the back.
Weight: 1.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Opal (2.30ct).

HALLMARKS: Makers Mark "W&G". "9", "375", Birmingham anchor assay office, date letter "Z" for the year 1924.

GOOD. This antique 9ct Gold Opal cabochon bezel-set ring is in good condition. This treasure has a lovely cabochon cut Opal at its focal point, secure in its bezel. The split shoulders have some visible joining marks, but when you wear the ring you can't see this. The ring has been resized but this work has been carried out well and the band is smooth and the hallmarks have remained visible.
