ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).
MEASUREMENTS: Lion is 15mm long x 22mm wide.
Weight: 0.7g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold.
STAMPS: 9CT on body.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
GOOD-VERY GOOD: The Gold is buttery with a bright, glossy finish, and the engraved details are crisp. There is some wear throughout, including some mild discolouration within the engraved details, a small pinhole by the mouth, and a scratch on the back from a previous purity test. These areas of wear are only truly noticeable under close inspection and do not detract from the beauty of this characterful antique lion pendant.
