MEASUREMENTS: Padlock is 23.5mm long x 16.5mm wide.

MATERIALS: 9ct Gold

STAMPS: “JG” Maker’s Mark, “9CT” on back.

HALLMARKS:Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The Gold is smooth and well-preserved with minimal wear. The hinge and lever open and close securely, making it both decorative and functional. A superb Victorian padlock in lovely condition.
