This antique 9ct Gold flat-cut Garnet fringe necklace is a berry red dream! Made during the Edwardian era, this Gold necklace has been crafted from rosy 9ct Gold and displays a splendid selection of flat-cut Garnets.

The flat-cut Garnets in this necklace have the most delicious cherry red hue, and at the centre come together to form a pretty flower. At 15.5" long, this Garnet fringe necklace drapes beautifully across the collarbones, catching the light beautifully as you move.

ERA: Edwardian (1901-1910).

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 15 & 1/2" or 39cm long.
Fringe detail is 4 & 1/2" long.
Round Garnets graduate from 4.5mm to 5.5mm in diameter, approx 13.00ct total.
Square Garnets are 6.5mm long x 6.5mm wide, approx 15.00ct.
Weight: 15.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Garnet.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT. This antique 9ct Gold flat-cut Garnet fringe necklace is in lovely condition. The Garnets are all secure, and free from damage, which given the age of the piece is quite a feat± The back of the necklace sits comfortably against the skin, and the Gold only has a few little dings to note. The clasp allows for secure closure, so you can wear this necklace confidently!
