This antique 9ct Gold engraved heart locket is unequivocally Victorian! Adorned with sweeping acanthus leaf engravings, this antique locket is bursting with romantic symbolism.

ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 21.5mm long x 21.5mm wide.
Weight: 4.1g

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back & front with Metal frames.

STAMP: Worn stamp on back of locket.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. This antique 9ct Gold engraved heart locket is in very good condition! The engraved details are crisp and the back of the locket is smooth. The stamp on the back of the locket has worn due to being well loved over the years but this does not affect the overall splendour of the piece. On the inside, there is some wear and darkening around the border, however, she still contains both frames allowing you to home two of your most cherished photographs securely. The locket doors close with a satisfying 'click' giving you peace of mind once this Victorian Gold locket is suspended from any antique Gold chain!
