MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 30mm long, including jump-ring.
Locket itself is 24mm long x 21.5mm wide.
Weight: 3.3g

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold back & front with Metal frames.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD. This antique 9ct Gold engraved heart locket is in very good condition! The engraved details are crisp and the cartouche is smooth allowing you to add an engraving for a personal touch. Under close inspection, there is a slight variation in the tone of the Gold on the front, but the glossy finish masks and we feel it adds to her antique charm. On the inside, there is wear and darkening around the border, however, she still contains both frames allowing you to home two of your most cherished photographs securely. The locket doors close with a satisfying 'click' giving you peace of mind once this Victorian Gold locket is suspended from any antique Gold chain!
