This long Victorian belcher chain is a superb antique example, crafted from 9ct Gold cased metal. The rounded 3mm wide belcher links are substantial and smooth, and the chain closes with its original dog-clip clasp.

Measuring an impressive 57" in length, this chain offers endless styling opportunities. It can be worn long, doubled, or even layered with other antique necklaces for a bold statement. A versatile and classic piece of Victorian jewellery with a rich golden hue.

Item Details

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 57" or 144.5cm long.
Links are 3mm wide.
Dog-clip is 19.5mm long x 6.5mm wide.
WEIGHT: 27.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold cased metal.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The belcher links are in strong condition with a smooth finish and rich colour. The dog-clip clasp functions securely. Minimal wear, very well preserved for its age.
