This enchanting antique 9ct Gold Aquamarine Turquoise pendant looks as though she's been plucked from a fairytale! The ornately formed 9ct Gold carries with it a lovely selection of gemstones, akin to tiny dew droplets on a frosty morning.

The curvaceous Gold frame is suspended from trace chains, studded with Pearls, and set with 0.70cts of icy blue Aquamarines and duck egg blue Turquoise creating a harmonious colour palette.

Description

The curvaceous Gold frame is suspended from trace chains, studded with Pearls, and set with 0.70cts of icy blue Aquamarines and duck egg blue Turquoise creating a harmonious colour palette.

ERA: Victorian, c.1900.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 50mm long x 27mm wide.
Aquamarine pear drop is 7.5mm long x 4.5mm wide, weighing approx. 0.44ct.
Aquamarine oval is 5.5mm long x 3.5mm wide, weighing approx. 0.14ct.
Round Aquamarines are 3mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.11ct combined.
Total Aquamarine weight is approx. 0.70ct.
Turquoise graduate from 2mm in diameter to 4.5mm in diameter  
Pearls are 2mm in diameter.
Weight: 2.7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Aquamarine ( 0.70ct), Turquoise, Pearl.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. This antique 9ct Gold Aquamarine Turquoise pendant is in very good condition. The Gold has a lovely buttery hue with only minor age-related surface wear and has remained structurally sound. The Turquoise are smoothly domed and securely set, with no chips or scuffs visible. There is a minor scuff on one of the Aquamarines, but the remaining three are pristine and they have all remained secure within their settings. The trace links are firmly connected and the Pearls are pristine. Promising many more years of wear, this Victorian pendant will make a superb addition to your collection!
