Item Details

ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 15" or 38cm long.
Pendant is 43.5mm long x 16mm wide.
Top Amethyst is 4.5mm in diameter.
Bottom Amethyst is 9mm long x 9mm wide.
Total carat weight is approx. 2.10ct.
Pearls are 2mm in diameter.
Weight: 3.7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Amethyst (2.10ct), Seed Pearls.

STAMPS: Obscured stamps on bolt ring.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: This antique 9ct Gold Amethyst Pearl heart necklace is in very good condition. She is crafted beautifully, and the Gold is bright and buttery. One Seed Pearl is duller than the others, and another one has a small crack across the surface. There is also some surface wear to the Amethyst, however this is commensurate with age and difficult to spot without a loupe. The chain has uniform links and each component is securely affixed, allowing you to wear this Victorian Amethyst necklace with confidence for years to come!
