ERA: Victorian (1837-1901). Later added bolt-ring.
MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 17" or 43cm long.
Chain is 1.5mm wide.
Amethyst is 11mm long x 8mm wide, weighing approx. 2.43ct.
Weight: 3.7g.
MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Amethyst (2.43ct).
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition
VERY GOOD: The Amethyst is glossy, with no chips or scuffs, and is secure within its claw setting. There is a conversion mark at the base of the Amethyst, which is not noticeable looking front on. The antique chain is in excellent condition, with all links securely connected. The new bolt-ring has been added for safety and security, allowing you to wear this Victorian necklace with confidence!
