Regal and romantic, this Victorian crowned heart pendant is a miniature treasure in rich 15ct Gold. A heart-shaped Amethyst glows a sumptuous purple with lilac flashes, framed by a textured bezel, rope‑twist border and delicate granule beading. An openwork coronet sits proudly above, its crisp detailing lending a charming heraldic flourish.

Beautifully made and wonderfully preserved, the Amethyst is estimated at approximately 3.65cts, offering a lively play of colour that feels both opulent and tender. Complete with a soldered 18ct Gold jump‑ring and a crisp “15CT” stamp, this pendant captures the sentimental splendour of the Victorian era with a refined, wearable elegance.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 31mm long including jump ring.
Pendant itself is 25mm long x 17.5mm wide.
Amethyst is 15mm long x 14mm wide x 4mm deep, weighing approx. 3.65ct.
WEIGHT: 3.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, 18ct Gold jump-ring, Amethyst (3.65ct).

STAMPS: 15CT.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Amethyst is bright and lively with no chips or cracks, showing only the lightest wear under magnification. The Gold settings are crisp with secure beading and coronet detailing, and the closed, soldered 18ct Gold jump‑ring is sound. This piece has been very well cared for, retaining a clear “15CT” stamp and only minimal wear commensurate with age.
