Item Details

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace is 20" or 51cm long.
Pearls graduate from 1.5mm to 2.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Natural Pearls.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Pearls display a soft, even lustre with only light natural surface characteristics visible under close inspection. The thread appears secure with tidy spacing, and the 9ct Gold barrel clasp is in good working order with minor age-appropriate patina. Wear is minimal and the necklace has been well cared for; as with all antique Pearl strands, handle with care.
