This outstanding Victorian bangle is crafted from solid 18ct Gold and displays a natural Star Sapphire haloed by six glittering Diamonds. The high-domed 6.55ct Sapphire cabochon displays a bold asterism across its lilac-blue core, giving it that highly desirable star effect for which Star Sapphires are so revered.

ERA: Victorian (1837-1901).

MEASUREMENTS: Inner bangle circumference is 7" or 17.5cm, expands to 8" or 20.5cm.
Cluster is 14mm in diameter.
Sapphire is 9mm in diameter, weighing approx. 6.55ct.
Diamonds are approx. 2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.18ct combined.
Weight: 9.9g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, natural no heat Star Sapphire (6.55ct), Diamond (0.18ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

EXCELLENT: The Star Sapphire is smoothly domed and the Diamonds are bright, each one securely set and free from chips or abrasions. Despite slight play to the Sapphire, it is securely mounted and can be worn with utmost confidence. The 18ct Gold has a radiant saturation and the bangle is smooth, providing comfortable wear.
