This is a stunning Edwardian Opal ring! This incredible piece has been formed from solid 18ct Gold and displays a lively cabochon-cut 1.10ct Opal and antique rose-cut Diamonds.

Opal is October's birthstone, and what a fabulous one to have! The Natural Opal has a vibrant play of colour within it; overtones of lilac, flashes of lime and cerulean blues to name a few! Surrounding the Opal are sweet antique rose-cut Diamonds, glinting prettily beneath the light. This Edwardian ring is uber elegant and we adore how she dresses the finger with such grace and beauty!

MEASUREMENTS: Cluster is 12.5mm in diameter.
Opal is 8mm in diameter, weighing approx. 1.10ct.
Diamonds are approx 2mm in diameter.
Ring band is 2.5mm wide at the back.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Natural solid Opal (1.10ct), Rose-cut Diamonds.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT: The shank is crafted from robust 18ct Gold, and although not hallmarked, tests as solid 18ct Gold throughout. The Opal has a wonderful play of colour within it, and is perfectly smooth and securely set. The Diamonds are all present and secure, and they sparkle beautifully! Overall, this Edwardian ring is a fabulous investment that your collection will adore.
