Elegant Victorian charm meets kaleidoscopic colour in these 18ct Gold Opal and Diamond cluster drops. Each earring centres a natural solid Opal cabochon alive with vivid flashes of green, blue, orange and yellow, framed by a scintillating halo of antique Old Mine Cut Diamonds for a classic, luminous finish.

The oval clusters are beautifully proportioned and suspended from simple shepherd-hook fittings, allowing the gemstones to catch the light with every movement. With approximately 1.00ct of Opal and 0.60ct of Old Mine Cut Diamonds in total, these refined drops offer that perfect balance of romance, sparkle and timeless sophistication.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901)

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 23.5mm long including hooks.
Gem-set oval face is 12.5mm long x 9.5mm wide.
Opals measure 8.2mm x 5.5mm (approx. 0.50ct each), approx. 1.00ct combined.
Diamonds measure approx. 1.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.60ct combined.
Total gemstone weight: approx. 1.60ct.

WEIGHT: 2.7g (pair)

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Natural Solid Opals (approx. 1.00ct), Old Mine Cut Diamonds (0.60ct)

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: Opals are smooth and vibrant with strong play-of-colour; Diamonds are bright with minimal facet wear. The settings are neat and secure with light surface wear commensurate with age, and all stones are present and well-matched. One ear wire shows a slight kink that does not affect wear; overall these earrings have been well cared for.
