Description

Suspended from a Gold chain, this Edwardian Opal and Diamond pendant would look beautiful adorning your décolletage and would make a wonderful statement antique piece to add to your collection.

Item Details

ERA: Edwardian, c. 1900.

MEASUREMENTS: Pendant is 37.5mm long, including jump ring.
Pendant is 27.5mm wide.
Outer Opals graduate from 5.5mm long x 4.5mm wide to 7mm long x 5mm wide.
Central Opal is 9.5mm long x 7.5mm wide.
Total Opal carat weight is approx. 1.45ct.
Larger Diamonds are 1.6mm in diameter.
Weight: 3.8g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Silver settings, Opals (1.45ct), rose-cut Diamonds.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT. This antique 18ct Gold Opal Diamond pendant is in lovely condition. Each of her Opals and Diamonds are set securely and are free from any visible scratches or scuffs. There are some minor signs of wear to the Gold commensurate with age, however this is not visible when wearing and does not detract from her beauty. With a securely soldered jump ring, she can be worn with confidence!
