MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 34mm long x 31mm wide.
Diamonds graduate from 1.3mm to 4mm in diameter.
Largest Diamond is 4mm in diameter, weighing approx 0.25ct.
Diamonds either side are 3.3mm, weighing approx 0.28ct combined.
Inner row is 2.4mm Diamonds, weighing approx 0.85ct total.
Middle Row is approx 2.5mm diameter, weighing approx 0.84ct total.
Outer row is 1.4mm in diameter, weighing approx 0.20ct.
Total Diamond weight approx. 2.30ct.
Weight: 9.2g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold with Platinum settings. 14ct Gold pin and fittings, Old Mine Cut & Old European Cut Diamonds.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT. This antique 18ct Gold Diamond crescent moon brooch pendant is in excellent condition. This piece has lasted incredibly well over the years, with the Diamonds just as sparkly as when they were first set. The piece has remained in impeccable condition, and the open back settings allow the light to pour through. This treasure is designed to be worn as a brooch, but could quite easily be converted into a pendant, free of charge. There is already a hasp attached so someone else has enjoyed it as a pendant too. This incredible find cannot be missed!
