MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 28.5mm long x 19.5mm wide.
Diamonds graduate from 0.8mm to 6.5mm in diameter.
Large Diamond is 6mm x 6.6mm. Total carat weight is 1.00ct. (G-H colour, Si clarity)
Top most 3.8mm, 0.20ct. G/H- us-si
Total Diamond weight is approx. 3.62ct.
Weight: 5.7g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Silver Settings, Diamond (Total carat is 3.62ct)

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

EXCELLENT. This Victorian 18ct Gold celestial brooch is in excellent condition! Her Diamonds are set securely in their settings and are free from fleabites or abrasions, which is quite incredible when considering her grand age. The Gold is buttery and the Silver lustrous, with each component securely affixed. The brooch pin is robust and the findings can easily be removed to make this piece a highly wearable pendant. The box has some minor wear which is to be expected and will keep this exceptional piece of history safe allowing it to be passed down for generations to come!
