Scrolls, flutes and little floral details give this antique Gold seal fob a wonderfully sculptural presence. Its richly worked mount rises from a broad, decorated base to an equally ornate bail, with warm 15ct Gold catching the light across every curve. It is a satisfying piece to turn in the hand and admire from all sides.

Beneath the Goldwork lies a pale White Chalcedony intaglio, carved with a heraldic device and a crescent and star. Its motto translates as “Let us follow the heavenly light”, a lovely sentiment tucked into the base of this elaborate little object. Worn as a pendant on a favourite chain, it keeps that intriguing detail close.
