A timeless Victorian five-stone ring in rich 15ct Gold, set with a beautifully graduated line of deep royal-to-navy blue Natural Sapphires. The oval, mixed-cut stones flow gracefully across the finger with a low-to-medium profile, their inky tones offering refined elegance and enduring sparkle.

Each Sapphire is held in a scalloped, coronet claw setting with open backs to invite the light, while tapered shoulders melt into a comfortable rounded shank. Subtle, natural variation in hue between the stones adds character and charm—classic, understated, and effortlessly wearable.

MEASUREMENTS: Sapphires graduate from 3.5mm long x 3mm wide to 4mm in diameter, weighing approx. 1.25ct combined.
WEIGHT: 3.3g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Natural Sapphires (1.25ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: Sapphires are secure and bright with light abrasions and tiny nicks to facet edges visible under magnification only; gentle natural variation in hue is present. The Gold shows fine surface wear and a soft patina, with some claws slightly worn but secure. No obvious signs of later repair or resizing.
