Romantic and ornate, this Victorian pendant showcases a vivid green Emerald at its heart, framed by twinkling rose-cut Diamonds within an openwork cartouche of foliate C-scrolls. The Silver-topped settings create a beautiful two-tone contrast against the warm 15ct Gold back and bail, with delicate beaded detailing and softly aged patina enhancing its antique allure.

ERA: Victorian, c.1890.

MEASUREMENTS: Square Emerald is 6mm x 5 x 3mm, approximately 0.56ct.
Emerald cabochon measures 4 x 3.5 x 1.5mm, approximately 0.15ct.
Emeralds weigh approx. 0.71ct combined.
Diamonds measure 2.5mm in diameter.
WEIGHT: 4g

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold (bale and back), Silver settings, Emerald (0.71ct), Diamond.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Emeralds are bright and lively with light facet/rub wear to the central stone visible under magnification. Diamonds are secure and sparkling, and the Silver-topped settings and articulated drop are in strong condition with pleasing, age-appropriate patina. Overall light surface wear consistent with age; no visible losses or repairs.
