These antique Amethyst earrings are the perfect pair to add regal allure to any attire! Their settings are crafted from buttery 15ct Gold in a gorgeous ornamental drop style, each holding two lavender-hued Amethysts, boasting an incredible 11.36cts combined.

Their open 15ct Gold settings allow the light to shine through, projecting a spectrum of purple hues from their crisp cut facets!

Item Details

ERA: Victorian, 1837-1901 (Later added Gold tops).

MEASUREMENTS: Earrings are 29mm long from the top of the posts.
Earrings are 14mm wide.
Smaller Amethysts are 4.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.56ct combined.
Larger Amethysts are 13.5mm in diameter, weighing approx. 10.80ct combined.
Weight: 3.8g individual, 7.8g combined.

MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, 18ct Gold tops, Amethyst (11.36ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT: The Amethysts are gorgeous and secure in their settings, free from any chips or surface wear. The Gold is buttery with no signs of wear to the settings; you can be sure the gemstones are held securely all day long. There is some evidence of a previous conversion, from when they used to be part of a larger suite of jewellery, allowing you to enjoy them as this standout pair of earrings!
